The Milwaukee Police K9 Unit has been serving the community of Milwaukee since 2007. The unit currently consists of 11 K9 teams, with 6 specializing in patrol operations and 5 in explosives detection. All of the dogs live at home with their handler and family.

If you haven’t heard much about the MPD Harbor Patrol, that just means they’re doing a good job. With three boats and 12 officers, they protect 48 miles east of the coast. Along with the Department of Homeland Security, they keep the city safe from much bigger threats.
